  Getting even with the WTS after leaving?

  after leaving the jws did you do anything to exact some revange from them, such as giving a public talk exposing their real nature or discouraging an interested person from following them, or even bringing members out of the cult?

  I will have to reverse your question- since my husband joined..... I have only about 70 homes to 'hit' in the next week or so to make my 500 paperboxes (and/or businesses) with my anti witness literature.(I know, shamelessly tooting my ;own horn) ;No time slips for me, just trying to get it done by Valentines Day. My special gift to the org. Then there is friends and family I tell about the insane goings on and doctrines and such of the wt. Is it getting even? partly, but mostly I hope no one else loses a loved one to this evil org.

  Good for you Carla! Although I have not gone out of my way to spread the truth about the "truth", I certainly don't pass any opportunities to enlighten someone regarding the distructive bloodguily dogma of the WBTS.

  i'm considering buying a car this year.

  i'm getting a really good offer for a 1994 ford mustang cobra for about $7500 (its been modified :-d ).

  and a black viper that a guy has been trying to sell me for weeks.

  All of my cars have been two doors. The first two were only two seaters as well (no back seat). Currently I'm driving a 94 Mustang GT with a few minor mods, so I can appreciate one of your shopping options.

  However, my wife drives a mini-van. I had to do it. As much as it pained me I just had to. When you have a young child in a booster seat and two babies in car seats you have to have a roomy vehicle that is easy to climb in and out of. Hey, at least if I ever decide to go to a KH, I'll fit right in. Yeah right!

  I hope someone with access to those pics can do an analysis and estimate "distance versus time" -- in othe words, "velocity" of the stone, and then extrapolate it out and predict "exact moment of impact".

  God, I could just see my poor mother following along and nodding. ; Then making some comment on the ride home after the meeting about such deep things being revealed.

  Further proof that JW's truely and deeply do have something special. God's very chosen people on earth.

  I can remember JW's using this logic when I was in. As someone who earns their livelihood by bidding on commercial construction projects, I can honestly say that if I refused to bid on church projects I would be on the job market looking for new employment.

  The article says that false religion "has prostituted herself by forming alliances with one political power after another".

  How can they get away with printing this crap after hooring the WBTS to the UN?

  random memory from district assembly

  i remember being at a district convention when three young mormon men came in and somehow ended up sitting next to me.

  i was sitting with three of my girlfriends and although we were all 19 years old we had to sit within a row or two of our parents in order to be policed appropriately.

  the assembly was a yawnfest as usual but the mormon guys showing up added a bit of interest -- i immediately picked up on the fact that they were there for laughs not because they had any interest in becoming jdubs.

  The most fun I've ever had at a DC was the last one that I have ever been to. I had alredy begun to distance my self from the WBTS's cult and this was apparent by the shoulder length pony tail that I wore. It was so liberating walking around a convention hall with long hair, a goatee, and a KH badge on my chest. No one knew what to make of me. I got a ton of attention from EVERYONE! It was fantastic.

  i know i know, i'm so sorry to bug you guys about this but for obvious reasons i can't talk about it with anyone from the congregation and you guys are familiar with the watchtower.

  in the watchtower, the woman is expected to be 'chaste.

  ' so i'm worried that if i decide to marry someone that is a jw if what i did before will be a problem.

  About Tattoos...

  somebody was asking me about tattoos and what the biblical rules about them are.

  i also remember that a magazine (an awake!?

  ) mentioned that getting a tattoo is a matter of conscience.
